Our missions

The South Martinique Inter-municipal Tourist Office was established on 1 October 2017 by the Espace Sud Urban Community, pursuant to the Law on the New Territorial Organisation of the Republic (NOTRe).
This Act provides for the transfer of responsibility for ‘the promotion of tourism, including the establishment of tourist offices’ from the local authorities to their respective inter-municipal bodies.

The South Martinique Inter-municipal Tourist Office (OTI Sud Martinique) is a public industrial and commercial organisation (EPIC), whose main remit is:

The area covered by the OTI Sud Martinique coincides with that of the Espace Sud Urban Community, namely the twelve municipalities in the south of Martinique: Les Anses-d’Arlet, Le Diamant, Ducos, Le François, Le Marin, Rivière-Pilote, Rivière-Salée, Sainte-Anne, Le Saint-Esprit, Sainte-Luce, Les Trois-Îlets and Le Vauclin.

Make the most of everything the region has to offer: its authenticity, the diversity of its landscapes, its heritage and its culture. A true journey for all your senses…

To stay as closely attuned as possible to your interests and support you as you explore, the South Martinique Inter-municipal Tourist Office has introduced an innovative mobile information service. From our mobile trailer, our advisers travel around the southern municipalities, visiting beaches, local markets, cultural events and more…

Enjoy personalised advice, top tips, handy leaflets and even a little shop where you can pick up some souvenirs. Follow our itinerary on our social media @sudmartinique!
