Rivière-Pilote

La Mauny, founded in 1749, is one of the oldest and most renowned distilleries in Martinique.

Located in the heart of the Rivière Pilote countryside, it is surrounded by sugarcane fields. Visitors can learn about the process of making its A.O.C. rum by boarding the little train that runs through the estate.
The guided tour lasts about 50 minutes and offers a complete immersion, from the sugarcane fields to the aging cellar, taking in the various stages of distillation.
You can also enjoy the “La Cabane à Rhum” shop, which offers a free, guided tasting of the various vintages from Maison La Mauny.
The site features a restaurant serving delicious local dishes.
