Nestled between crystal-clear seas and lush green hills, Les Anses-d’Arlet – voted the second favourite village in France in 2020 – is a gem of the South, where the charm of fishing villages is evident at every turn.

Here, time seems to stand still, moving to the rhythm of the waves, in the shadow of the colourful houses. It is one of the most photographed towns in Martinique, largely thanks to its famous church, which is reflected in the sea, in perfect symmetry with the iconic jetty.
Since 2025, the town of Les Anses-d’Arlet has held the “Petites Cités de Caractère” label, recognising its diversity in terms of its rich heritage, architecture and culture, and in particular the authenticity of its historic centre.
