Eglise paroissiale
Saint-Esprit
Church classified as a Historic Monument in 1995. It was originally built at the end of the 19th century and rebuilt in 1907.
Set on a hillock, it features a main entrance and 2 side entrances framed by ashlar. Its reconstruction is characterized by a mix of wood and masonry.
The bell tower, originally 55 m high and covered in slate, has shrunk over the years. It houses 4 bells, including the famous “Sebastopol” brought back from Russia, a trophy from the Crimean War of 1855, given to a former governor of Martinique.
